Facilities and Infrastructure at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi College of Nursing

Parent Hospital - The students shall be getting clinical exposure in the parent hospital i.e. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Speciality Hospital. This will guarantee availability of adequate clinical material for students who will be exposed to a broad spectrum of disease and their management.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Specialty Hospital is a state of the art tertiary care,super specialty Hospital and is poised to cater to patients across more than 20 different specialties with special focus on cardiac sciences and oncology. The main feature of the hospital include 24/7 Emergency Services 60 beds. The hospital has ICU’s, CCU, MICU, SICU, NICU, Modern CATH Dialysis services. The students will be getting hands on approach on patients by implementing a qualitative nursing care under the guidance of trained professional faculty.

The students will enjoy individual hands-on experience on various practical procedures.

Auditorium - Big auditorium of SMVD University facility for hosting functions, examinations, workshops, seminars and conferences etc.

Outdoor Activities - SMVD University sports facilities as well as Shrine Boards Sports complex, Katra for outdoor and indoor physical activities are available for the students.
